About Terra Segara Indonesia Foundation
Terra Segara Indonesia Foundation was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate dive professionals who have spent years exploring and working in the breathtaking waters of Nusa Penida, Bali. With more than seven years of collective experience beneath the surface — and more than a decade of connection to the island — we have developed a deep respect for its extraordinary marine biodiversity and vibrant local community.

As non-local founders welcomed by Nusa Penida, we believe in giving back to the land and sea that have given us purpose. Our work is rooted in ocean stewardship, participatory education, and hands-on conservation. Through programs such as Scuba Dive Training and Certification, Penidacology, coral restoration, and beach clean-ups, we empower local youth to understand, protect, and sustain their Marine Protected Area and natural heritage.

We envision a generation of environmentally conscious leaders who protect life above and below the sea while honoring Balinese culture and community values. By combining environmental education, scientific knowledge, and practical action, we work hand-in-hand with the community to safeguard Nusa Penida for generations to come.
